REND
Though it was a short term contract I really enjoyed building visual effects technical art solutions for the open world competitive multiplayer survival game Rend. I was consistently impressed at the quality and speed of work this very small team created and was honored to be able to help out.
Borderlands 3
I was lucky enough to have a small involvement in the early preproduction of Borderlands 3. I was really excited to take the Illustrative style we had refined in Borderlands 2 and evolve it to something with more dynamism and illustrative character. While I don’t believe any of this work shipped with BL3 I do think it informed some of the techniques that were eventually used.
ROUGHNECKS
Was working with a friend and did a quick previsualization of a game setting. The idea was that a small town in the middle of nowhere was leveraging alien technology to summon chunks of worlds from elsewhere in the universe. This image was the result of a few hours of kit-bashing in UE4 and some paint-over in photoshop to unify it.
